Peter Bigott’s career in construction and building systems began at an early age, working in his family’s HVAC and mechanical contracting business. This hands-on foundation provided deep exposure to mechanical systems, field operations, and the discipline required to execute technically demanding work—experience that continues to inform his approach to complex residential construction today.

Peter furthered his education in Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD), strengthening his ability to interpret, develop, and coordinate architectural and technical drawings across multiple trades. He later became a co-founder of a St. Louis–based commercial foodservice equipment manufacturing company, where he played a key role in shaping the company’s core product offerings and contributing directly to product development and refinement.
As the company grew, Peter went on to lead its sales and marketing operations, working directly with large-scale institutional and corporate clients across the hospitality, grocery, and education sectors. His client portfolio included nationally recognized organizations such as Disney and MGM, as well as top-tier retail grocery chains including Roundy’s, Giant Eagle, Schnucks Markets, and Wegmans. In this role, Peter developed extensive experience managing complex stakeholder relationships, aligning design and manufacturing requirements, and delivering solutions that met rigorous performance, schedule, and budget expectations.

This blend of mechanical contracting, technical design, manufacturing, and executive-level client management ultimately led Peter to found Bigotti Contracting and Design LLC in 2013. Today, he applies the same systems-driven thinking, attention to detail, and accountability developed throughout his career to the delivery of high-end custom homes and luxury renovations. Peter remains personally involved in every project, ensuring that Bigotti’s work reflects the highest standards of craftsmanship, transparency, and execution.
